Funny Stuff!

Here's some funny stuff that my kids have said in the past few days....

Part of the Easter dinner conversation at Grammy and Grampy's house was about Daniel's work. After quite some time (and quite a bit of detail), Ashlyn turned to me and whispered... "Mom, this is so very interesting!"

Ummm... Do I hear sarcasm?

Today during lunch Gavin said, "Mom, when I drink, it wakes my ears up from falling asleep!"

Well that surely explains why you don't hear me some times... Your ears need a drink!

Driving home in the car the other night Ashlyn asked me why there was a big bright star right next to a little star. I told her that the big bright star could possibly be a planet. She was very quick to reply, "Oh come on Mom! Be realistic!"

What do I say to that?

Gavin has had a little bit of a sniffy nose lately. He has a hard time not freaking out when his nose is not completely clear. So as he was eating his lunch he found that chewing with his mouth closed was a bit of a challenge and said, "Mom, the boogers are having a party in my nose!"

I about choked on my food I laughed so hard!

I'm sure my kids would rather me not share the cute little things they say, but I just have to!
